And thirdly, there are special rules for formatting text for the site and correspondently you should take these rules into consideration. Let me remind you these rules. So you should stick to left alignment, font size 12 or 14. Don’t forget about the mandatory separation of subtitles. I really hope that nothing has been missed me.
Perhaps you know that the lead paragraph which is the first after the title is supposed to draw the reader’s attention. That’s why readers tend to read the whole text when being attracted by the lead paragraph. Correspondently this lead paragraph should be in bold. But the bold italics can’t be always appropriate. So you should take into account a particular situation.
As for the color of the text for the site I can only say that it should contrast with other colors of the page fills the page. But at the same time you should keep in mind that “reversing” or in other words white letters on a dark background will spoil readability. In this case the speed of reading will be 5% lower than when using the dark text on the light background.
